Heart Aesthetics Hobart is a nurse-led clinic providing private skin consultations in New Town. We help clients from Hobart and southern Tasmania make informed choices about their treatment options. Our focus is safety, professionalism, and comfort in a discreet, supportive environment.

Consultations include discussion of suitability, risks, and expected outcomes before any treatment. Services include skin needling, collagen stimulation, Tixel rejuvenation, lip and facial consultations, and tailored skin care planning. We do not advertise prescription-only medicines; instead, we provide clear, evidence-based guidance in line with AHPRA and TGA requirements.

Located at 187 New Town Rd, New Town TAS 7008, we are easily accessible to residents of Sandy Bay, Glenorchy, Kingston, Sorell, and the Huon Valley.

Distinguished and Famous people from Bondi Beach and Surrounds

Bondi's public life includes people who helped shape its buildings and people whose workplace is the beach itself. These connections rest on schooling, civic service and years of practical work along the shore.

🏛️ Barbara Armitage

Barbara Armitage attended Bondi Public School and later Dover Heights Girls' High School. She served on Waverley Council from 1979 to 1997 and was mayor from 1987 to 1997. The Australian Women's Register credits her with helping prevent Bondi Beach from becoming a high-rise precinct. Her working life also included social services and public administration, alongside party and community involvement. Awarded an OAM in 2002, she represents the less photographed side of a famous beach: the sustained civic work behind decisions about how it develops.

🌊 Bruce “Hoppo” Hopkins

Bruce Hopkins became head lifeguard for Waverley Council in 2000 and received the Australian Lifeguard of the Year award in 2006. Bondi Rescue made him familiar to audiences well beyond Sydney, but his local connection is the professional work behind the cameras. He has also supported inclusive ocean swimming programmes through Little Heroes Swim Academy. In the council's 2024 summer safety campaign, he drew on thirty-two years of lifeguarding to encourage safer swimming. The television profile and the day job meet in the same place: helping people enjoy the ocean and return safely to shore.
